AI Implementation and Training Challenges

After running many AI workshops, I’ve realised that the biggest challenge in AI training isn’t teaching people how to use tools.

It’s changing how they think about AI.

Many managers and staff still arrive believing AI is useless, dangerous, or simply not for them. Some fear it will take their jobs. Others (subconsciously) hope it’s just a temporary trend they can ignore and then return to their work as they always have.

However, AI is already an integral part of everyday work. It helps draft better emails, summarise reports, analyse information, and save valuable time. In companies that value their customers and strive for high standards of service and products, AI doesn’t replace people; it supports them. The real difference lies between those willing to try it and those who refuse to engage with it.

This is why mindset matters more than technical skill.

You don’t need to be a tech expert to use AI. You need to be open to learning something new. And the reality is becoming clearer every day: if you want to stay relevant in your role, AI is no longer optional.

The message is simple:
Either embrace AI and continue growing in your career, or risk being left behind as others move forward.

AI won’t replace you, but someone who uses AI effectively might.
